Resumes for Brazilians applying to jobs in Portugal
The Portuguese market has its own rules. Photo, education order, vocabulary and format all shift.
The European Europass format used to dominate Portugal, but private companies today prefer more modern layouts — still more restrained than in Brazil.
A formal photo is welcome, education comes before experience for junior candidates, and dates use dd/mm/yyyy. Write in pt-PT: “gestão”, “estágio”, “licenciatura” instead of Brazilian variants.
Jornatta's Lisboa template applies these conventions automatically. Combine it with pt-PT as the resume language and Portugal as the target country to adjust autocomplete and date formats.
Work permits: as a Brazilian you'll need a visa (D3 for highly qualified, job-search visa, or subordinate work visa). That's another post — get the resume right first.
