LinkedIn vs resume: why you need both (well aligned)
Recruiters check LinkedIn before opening your resume. When the two don't match, trust drops.
You don't pick one or the other. LinkedIn extends passive reach — people find you without you applying. The resume is active — the specific piece you send for each role.
Align titles, companies, dates and main achievements. Big mismatches (different title, inconsistent dates) raise flags.
On LinkedIn use the “About” section in first person and tell the narrative. On the resume it's impersonal and fact-driven.
A good Jornatta resume exports as PDF, but its text also becomes a base for updating LinkedIn — copy the quantified achievements straight over and save hours.
